Preparation of Moldova's Public Sector for Negotiations and Integration with the European Union
Project objectives
The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of the Office of European Integration (OEI) of the Moldovan State Chancellery and Deputy Prime Minister’s by training Moldovan officials who are involved in EU-accession negotiations and are responsible for Moldova’s internal EU-integration process.
Actions and results
The project will bring leading Estonian experts to Moldova, who will train specially formed groups of civil servants (125 people in total). The training volume is 200 hours.
During the process, the OEI's institutional capacity and readiness to develop and sustainably implement new EU-oriented training programs in the future will improve.
Expected result:
- The OEI will increase the professional capacity of civil servants in implementing reforms and EU-oriented integration in Moldova, support accession negotiations;
- The OEI will develop and ensure a sustainable digital training system for civil servants in the future, so that they can contribute to demanding EU issues.
