Communication guidelines for partners

Partners of the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) who work with us on various projects or have a funding agreement with ESTDEV are required to use the ESTDEV – From the People of Estonia logo. 

Communication guidelines for contract partners 

ESTDEV project partners are required to inform the public that the project is being implemented with the support of the Republic of Estonia. Funding recipients (including co-financing recipients) must use the ESTDEV – From the People of Estonia logo and display it on all project-related activities and outputs, including communication materials. This includes all public communications about the project's objectives, progress reports and results, such as those presented at events, on websites, on social media, in the media, in informational materials, on promotional items, and through other communication channels. 

As public communication is mandatory, funding recipients must account for communication-related costs during the project budgeting phase. When submitting an application, applicants must also include a preliminary communication plan outlining the main target groups, key messages and planned communication activities. The plan should also describe how target audiences will be informed: for example, whether dedicated social media accounts or pages will be created, whether journalists will be engaged, whether press events will be organised, and so on. All communication-related costs must be covered within the project budget. 

Partners are required to conduct their communication activities in accordance with the Communication Guidelines document.
