Korosten Hospital provides both outpatient and inpatient care, including surgical care, intensive care, diagnostics and rehabilitation. The establishment of the MRI center will strengthen the hospital's ability to provide comprehensive diagnostics of mental and physical illnesses, including neurological and orthopedic cases, without patients having to travel to distant centers.

Project objectives

Korosten City Hospital is a medical institution of regional importance, part of the Ukrainian network of cluster hospitals, serving the population of the city of Korosten and surrounding villages. The hospital provides a wide range of primary and specialized medical services, including intensive care, surgery, pediatrics and infectious diseases, and diagnostics. Therefore, strengthening modern diagnostic capabilities is essential for the functioning of the healthcare system in the region.

Actions and results

The new MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) center building to be constructed under the project will create modern facilities for MRI equipment, enabling the hospital to provide high-quality imaging diagnostics. This is an important addition to the provision of healthcare services, improving the detection of complex pathologies and comprehensive medical assessment.
