Supporting good governance in the Ukranian healthcare sector through data protection capacity building
Project objectives
The project aims to strengthen the data protection capacity of healthcare professionals in Ukraine to support the lawful, transparent and justified processing of personal and health data in everyday work practice.
Actions and results
The project will create a Ukrainian-language e-course on data protection for the healthcare sector, which will be combined with two three-day practical contact training sessions in Kyiv. The training sessions will focus on typical healthcare work situations, case studies and simulations. The training sessions will be followed by online follow-up meetings and participants will be issued certificates. Up to 50 specialists will be trained within the project.
The project will improve the participants’ practical ability to understand, justify and apply data protection requirements in their work, thereby supporting good governance and the functioning of healthcare institutions in Ukraine.
