The integration of entrepreneurship education into the Ukrainian education system supports the country's development and post-war reconstruction in a number of ways, including.

  • Fostering innovation: equipping students with the skills to create and implement new business ideas. 
  • Creating jobs: more people would be willing to start their own businesses, creating jobs. 
  • Problem-solving: an entrepreneurial mindset would help to find creative solutions to the challenges of reconstruction. 
  • International cooperation: entrepreneurial skills would facilitate international (business) cooperation and attract investment. 

Project objectives

The aim of the project for vocational schools is to systematically implement the entrepreneurship learning approach and entrepreneurship education in the participating vocational schools in all specialisations and at all levels of vocational education and to create the necessary methodology and teaching materials to ensure that all students in vocational schools have the opportunity to undergo entrepreneurship education.  

Actions and results

Outcome 1: Guidance materials and teaching resources developed for VET schools to support entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education are publicly available free of charge and meet the needs of VET schools. As a result of the action, VET schools have methodological guidance materials, modern teaching resources and entrepreneurship education modules to support the implementation of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education, according to the needs of the target groups.

Outcome 2: Training programmes and in-service training have been developed to ensure that the professionals supporting and delivering entrepreneurship education and training in the participating VET schools are prepared to deliver entrepreneurship education and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Outcome 3: Businesses, including professional associations, are involved in the implementation and development of entrepreneurship education, cooperation between schools and businesses has increased, and a mentoring network of entrepreneurship teachers has been established. As a result of the activities, partners outside schools are involved in making vocational schools more entrepreneurial and in the delivery and systematic development of entrepreneurship education. There is close and coordinated cooperation between vocational schools and enterprises.  

Outcome 4: Project activities and impacts will be monitored and studied and outreach activities to different target groups will be systematically addressed.
