Estonia will collaborate with Botswana to develop a national interoperability framework and implement best practices in digital governance to simplify administrative processes, reduce bureaucracy and make services more accessible and inclusive for all citizens.
Output 1: Improve Botswana's e-government services by enhancing the National Interoperability Framework (NIF) to align with international best practices.
Goal: Enable seamless data exchange, simplify processes, and improve public service efficiency.
Expected Outcomes:
For Citizens: Faster, easier Access to government services.
For Government: Streamline processes, bettere data management, and more efficient service delivery.
For Businesses: Reduced bureaucracy and improved interaction with government services.
Output 2: Digital by Default Strategy & Effective Communication Strategy
Goal: Establish a "Digital by Default" approach, ensuring government services are primarily delivered digitally, and develop a communication strategy to promote these services.
Expected Outcomes:
For Citizens: Easier access to government services through digital channels; improved digital literacy.
For Government: Clear strategy for digital transformation and efficient service delivery.
For Society: Increased equity in accessing services, reduction in digital divide, and greater inclusivity.
