Project objectives
Project aims to empower ambitious Ukrainian tech professionals with entrepreneurial skills through knowledge and experience exchange with advanced business development and digital experts from Estonia and other countries to fuel Ukrainian economic recovery. We will test the willingness to deep-dive more into AI topics also in the regional level in cooperation with the Zhytomyr Polytechnic Science Park.
Actions and results
This will happen through the ChallengerAI Accelerator, in which 12 to 18 Advanced AI startups receive intensive support to scale their ventures to respond to Ukrainian urgent needs and attract investments to contribute to the country's broader and long-term economic recovery and economic development.
The ChallengerAI Accelerator is comprised of three verticals:
- Healthtech with a focus on mental health crucial for the Ukrainian population who suffered trauma and displacement due to the war. Furthermore, startups in this sector can also improve healthcare access and efficiency, addressing potential strains on the system.
- Edutech to promote the accessibility and quality of education in order to build a skilled workforce and a future generation capable of contributing to the recovery of Ukraine and its economic growth. Edutech startups are also able to support continuous learning for displaced individuals.
- Cybersecurity to protect critical infrastructure and data during and after conflict, as well as tools to combat misinformation and propaganda efforts.
The ChallengerAI Accelerator features goal setting, curated online workshops, expert mentorship (business, tech, and pitch), offline ecosystem events, and exclusive networking with investors and industry leaders.
