Supporting the transition to the system of foster homes
Project objectives
The aim of the project is to support the opening of family homes established by Estonia in Ukraine and the transition to the family home system.
Actions and results
Activity 1.1: Meetings at the level of the region and, if possible, the ministry, in order to map the current situation
Activity 1.2: Study visit to Estonia
Activity 1.3: Discussing feedback and opportunities for further cooperation
Activity 2.1: A two-week study visit of family home parents to Estonia, during which training and practice are carried out
Activity 2.2: Mentoring by a partner chosen by Estonia
Activity 2.3: Training of trainers
Activity 3.1: Meetings with local government representatives, ministry employees and parents, to get feedback on the family houses established in Estonia
Activity 3.2: Meetings with relevant target groups to get input on the situation in the social field and discuss further cooperation opportunities
