Psychosocial Support in Ukraine, Through the Training of Educators and Use of the Spokiy Digital Platform
Project objectives
The aim of the project is to support the mental health of people in Ukraine who have suffered due to the war and to provide mental health first aid training to 210 educators in schools located in the Zhytomyr and Chernihiv oblasts.
Actions and results
As a first result of the project, we offer psychological assistance to 1000 Ukrainians through an evidence-based digital diagnostic and treatment platform Spokiy (applied in private medicine in Estonia based on DocuMental platform) that follows the guidelines of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) developed in Estonia. The second goal of the project is to provide mental health first aid training to 210 educators in schools located in the Zhytomyr and Chernihiv oblasts. These trainings aim to focus on and support the mental health of teachers, as well as teach them how to use proven methods to support students who have experienced psychological trauma. As part of the project, we offer training to educators from 14 schools, 7 of which are located in the Zhytomyr oblast and 7 in the Chernihiv oblast.
