Next Generation Digital Government Microdegree
Project objectives
The purpose of the program is to give the participants a comprehensive overview of e-governance and what a digital state is and how to enable rapid digital change in the public sector to cope with the changes in the information society.
Actions and results
Within this program, e-governance principles are introduced and focused on the digital government components: public services and their digitalization, legal frameworks, interoperability, identity, and change management in the transition to e-governance. Participants will gain a general understanding about the planning, implementation and use of services as well as fostering digital communication and paperless administration between public sector institutions.
After the program completion, participants can manage digital state projects and solutions from the best practices of both Estonia and other countries, having acquired both theoretical knowledge during the training and practical cases of the seminars and workshops. Throughout the 10-day on-site training, participants are familiarized with Estonian digital infrastructure and best practices. It is planned to train 15 people within this program.
