New opportunities for Ukrainian women and youth in the Kirovograd region of Ukraine
Project objectives
The project aims to help the Kirovograd region to develop in three directions: to promote entrepreneurship (especially among female war refugees and local women), to support the Ukrainian vocational education reform at the local level (through the development and piloting of an entrepreneurship training curriculum and module) and to provide momentum and support for women journalists in covering everything happening in the region.
Actions and results
The project will directly benefit 60 women and 200 young people from partner schools, who will be offered entrepreneurship training and encouragement during the project period - to open their own business/start-up or make a career leap in their professional life. However, the broader aim of the project is to ensure sustainability. To this end, we will provide the necessary knowledge, experience and inspiration to the region's entrepreneurship educators, public officials and vocational schools.
In addition, we will involve journalists, who we see as an important part of Kirovograd's future development.
