Annual International Conference on Humanitarian Assistance in Tallinn

The conference organised in November 2023 showed that such events are much needed in Estonia to develop and raise awareness in the field of humanitarian aid. The conference was a great success and received very positive feedback from participants, both speakers and audience. Speakers were of a very high calibre, including from UN agencies (OCHA), major humanitarian organisations (IFRC, NRC), expert organisations in the field (ALNAP) and major humanitarian donors (ECHO, Germany). 

The tradition of an annual conference in Estonia continuously develops the competence and awareness in the field of humanitarian aid, as it brings in experts from other countries and organisations in the field, and creates/promotes opportunities for cooperation between Estonian organisations on the one hand, and international humanitarian organisations and donors on the other.
